FAQs

Shipping & Ordering

Do you offer free shipping?
We offer free shipping for orders over $135. You can read more about the details of that specific offer here as there may be additional nuance depending on where you're shipping.
Can I purchase a gift card?
Shopping for someone else? Here’s how to send an Our Place gift card — no wrapping paper required.

You can snag a gift card in various denominations here.

You're able to either have that sent to your recipient now or at a later date. If helpful, you can find our terms and conditions here, too.

My order says it was delivered but I didn’t receive anything.
In most cases, you’ll see it deliver within 1 business day. There can be a lag between the physical delivery date and tracking delivery date. If it’s been longer than 2 business days, please email us and we’ll look into what’s going on!
Why won’t my promo code work?
Oh no! First, please double check that you haven’t left off a letter or number from the discount code. This happens all the time! Second, check that you’re using the code on an applicable item. For example: if your code is for our Always Pan, it won’t apply to our dinnerware (or vice versa).

If you’re still having trouble during the checkout process, please email us. It’s always appreciated when you’re able to include a screenshot of your cart so we can see exactly what issue you’re experiencing.

A little fine print: Promo codes can’t be doubled up, used in combination with our bundle or used on orders that include a gift with purchase. Promo code discounts are only valid on full price items. Promo codes are also subject to any terms and conditions associated with that specific promo code.
I entered the wrong shipping address? What should I do?
It happens! You're able to cancel your order within 60 minutes via a link at the bottom of your order confirmation email. From there, just place a new order so we can get that heading to the right place! If you have a one time promo code, just drop us a note after your new order is placed and we can credit you retroactively.

Once our warehouse team is packaging up your order we are unable to change any shipping information.
Where do you ship?
We ship across mainland United States as well as Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico. Please click for shipping to Canada and click for shipping to the UK. We hope to be available in more countries, soon! Follow us at on Instagram and join our mailing below to hear what we are up to (and where we are going) next!
What payment methods do you accept? Can I split my payment across two cards?

Can I cancel my order?
Need to cancel your order? Here's what to know about timing and how to make changes before it ships.

You're able to click "Edit or Cancel" on your order confirmation within 60 minutes of your order being placed. This will cancel your order so you can place a new one. If you've passed that time window, email us as soon as you can!

If your item is on preorder, it likely hasn't moved into fulfillment yet so drop us a note at hello@fromourplace.com and we may be able to help.

Once your order is in the fulfillment process, we are unable to make further edits and hope it fits in nicely! But every place is different, and if you need to exchange, please click here to do so.
How do I find my order number?
You should have an order confirmation email with your order number in your inbox. It will start with #OP followed by a series of numbers. If you’re having trouble finding it, search for hello@fromourplace.com. Be sure to check your spam folder in case it ended up there. If you still can’t find it, let us know and we’ll help you out! When you reach out please be sure to include which country you’re shipping to so we can help find your order more efficiently.

(If you’re looking for an exchange order confirmation, that will start with #EXC-OP and a series of numbers.)
I ordered all items that were in stock but only half my items arrived. What happened?
Not to worry! Depending on a variety of factors, your order may ship out in a few packages. You likely have another package your way so check to see if we sent an additional tracking number your way. You can either check your email (look for something from hello@fromourplace.com) or log in to your account here to see if all items are marked as shipped. If they are, click "Track Shipped Items" to see tracking numbers and what should be included in each package.
If you're still missing something, please do let us know!

Why hasn’t my Our Place tracking number updated?
Wondering why your Our Place tracking number hasn’t updated? Hang in there! Here’s what might be causing the delay and what you can do next.

It can take 1 - 3 business days for the shipping carrier to start moving a package or update the tracking information. During the holidays or other high volume periods, this can take up to 5 - 6 business days for a package to scan in initially. Rest assured, your package will be on its way to you soon.

We do our best to monitor your packages and will likely reach out if we think anything might be going wrong with oyur order. However, if you don’t see any movement after 10 business days, please let us know and we’ll look into it for you. Please allow 14 business days for noncontingous US addresses.
I'd love to give this as a gift! What does the gifting look like?
How thoughtful of you! Our pieces are PERFECT for housewarmings, newlyweds, or as a not-so-subtle suggestion to someone you want to cook more. Select “Add a gift note to your order” in your cart at checkout and we’ll include a customized message. We’ll add the note to one item in your order and we do our best to include it with the item we expect to deliver to your recipient first. We don’t want to spoil any surprises! Heads up - all items ship in a box with our Our Place logo. We never include pricing information with any of our products (gifts or otherwise!).

Already placed your order? Gift notes cannot be added to an order after they are placed. If you just placed your order within the last few minutes, you should be able to cancel it. After 60 minutes have elapsed, orders begin moving through our system for fulfillment so we'd recommend keeping an eye on tracking and letting your recipient know you have something heading their way.
When will I receive my order?
All orders with in stock items take up to 2 business days to process and generally take 1-7 business days for delivery. Free standard ground shipping applies to orders over $135 in value (after discounts and before taxes) in the 48 contiguous states and does not apply to Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico.

We do not ship to APO/FPO addresses or P.O. boxes.

A little fine print: Please note, processing times are in addition to the transit time estimates. While it’s likely your order will arrive within the estimated timeframe, it’s not a guarantee. Shipping times to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico take an average of 14 business days for delivery. Expedited shipping fees (when available) are not refundable.
I ordered something on preorder, when will it ship?
You can always check the status of your order (and any items on preorder) on your personalized tracking page . All you will need is your order number and shipping zip code! Don't forget to include the # before your order number so our system works as intended.

Returns & Exchanges

Do I have to pay return shipping?
Nope! Returns are always free when returning in the same country that you purchased.

Please note if you leave the country with your item, we are not able to provide a return label across borders.
I’m having trouble initiating a return. Can you help?
First things first, let’s make sure you’re entering your order number correctly. It starts with #OP and you can find it in your order confirmation email. If the order number is correct and you still have any trouble, please email us. If you're not able to find your order number, please email us your full name, phone number, shipping address, and any other email addresses you may have used, and we’ll look into it for you.

Please note that we can only process returns or exchanges on purchases made directly from our site. Usually when we're not able to locate a return it means the information provided is incorrect or our product was purchased from a retail partner (which we are not able to assist with).
My item arrived damaged. What should I do?
Well, that’s a bummer — we’re so sorry that happened. Please click here and we’ll get you a replacement on the way ASAP. Please select “Delivery Issue” for your return reason so we can be sure to share this feedback with the appropriate teams.
What is your return policy?
Unless otherwise stated (e.g., marked as “Final Sale”), we offer hassle-free exchanges or returns up to 100 days after your item has been shipped to your home or purchased in-store. You can return by mail or to our Our Place retail store. If you need to return by mail, please click here to start your return. While original packaging is preferred, any box that can safely be shipped will do (except for knives, see below)! You are required to ship an item back before receiving a refund or exchange (when applicable).

If you are returning knives, please carefully pack in the original packaging and follow the applicable carrier’s rules for shipping knives. If shipping within the US, please refer to the UPS website for its most up to date guidance.

Original shipping costs (and the associated taxes & duties, if applicable) are non-refundable. Gift cards are non-refundable. Once a return is started online, you have 28 days to send it back.

For engraved products: No returns (for refund or credit) or exchanges on either the product or the engraving services.

Please note: If you purchase from a partner of ours be sure to double check their return policy as it might differ from ours. We are not able to offer returns or exchanges on behalf of our retail partners.

Additional terms + conditions can be found here.
Can I combine my returns using one shipping label?
Yes! You can choose whether to receive one label per item or combine multiple items under a single label.

Option 1: One label per item
- Select the first item you’d like to return and complete the prompts.
- At the bottom of the page, click “Continue with return.”
- Repeat this process for each additional item. Each return will generate its own shipping label.

Option 2: One label for multiple items
- Select the first item you’d like to return and complete the prompts.
- When you’re taken back to your order page, select another item you’d like to include.
- Repeat this until you’ve chosen all the items you want to ship back in the same box.
- Once ready, click “Continue with return” to receive a single shipping label covering those items.
- If you still have more items to return, repeat the process to create a an additional label for those.

How do I start a return or exchange?
Step 1. Navigate to our returns and exchanges page.

Step 2. Select the item you would like to return. If you are returning more than one item, you'll need to repeat this process for each item.

Step 3. Follow the series of prompts to guide you through either an exchange or a return, depending on your preference.

Step 4. Print the prepaid shipping label provided and mail in the package. While original packaging is preferred, any carrier approved box will do. Please send the item back to us within 28 days.

Please note: Returns to your original form of payment generally take 2-3 weeks from the time you send the package until the warehouse receives and processes it. If a non Our Place product is shipped back, we're not able to guarantee it will be returned back to you. Please review our returns terms and conditions here.
I just ordered but I picked the wrong color - what should I do?
Whoops! You're able to click "Edit or Cancel" on your order confirmation within 60 minutes of your order being placed. This will cancel your order so you can place a new one. If you've passed that time window, email us as soon as you can!

Once your order is in the fulfillment process, we are unable to make further edits and hope it fits in nicely! But every place is different, and if you need to exchange, please click here to do so.
I received this as a gift, can I exchange it?
We're sorry to hear you're not loving the gift you received. We'd be happy to help facilitate an exchange for you within 100 days of when it was fulfilled. Since you received it as a gift, we recommend doing this as quickly as possible. We are not able to extend this window based on when your gifter gave you the product.

Step 1. Navigate to our exchange page here. Please click on "Don't have your order information" if that is not something you have handy so we can try to find that for you. Just a heads up if we're not able to locate the original order you might need to reach out to your gifter. We'll do everything we can to avoid that, though!

Step 2. Select the item you would like to exchange and the reason you are not loving it. If you’re exchanging more than one product, you’ll want to complete these steps for each item.

Step 3. Choose the new item you’d like and complete the checkout process. Exchanged orders will ship out as your item is received by our warehouse (if applicable).

Step 4. Print the prepaid shipping label(s) provided and mail in the package(s). Please send the item(s) back to us within 28 days when requested.

We're really excited to offer accounts so you can keep an eye on your order history, current order status, earn points and invite friends to Our Place, too! View your account information here to get started and let us know if you have any questions! You just need an email address and we will email you a 6 digit code. No password or account creation required!

When are birthday points given?
Your birthday points will be added on your birthday as long as you have entered it in!

If you sign up and enter your birthday within the 30 days prior to your actual day of birth, you’ll see the points added on a delay. They’ll appear on the 31st day and then on your actual birthday from here on out!
Why did I lose points?
Points may be deducted for a few reasons:

- Points expire after 6 months. Once they are gone, they are gone so be sure to use them up before they are removed from your account.
- If you return a purchase for a refund, any points associated with that order will be removed from your account.
- If you refer a friend who completes a purchase which is considered a successful referral but they then return their order.
- Earnings such as a birthday or anniversary are considered passive actions. They will expire 6 months after they were earned (so use them up!)

If you've redeemed your points between earning them + a return, that is OK! Points can go into the negative, but as soon as you earn more, you'll be well on your way to getting back into the positive with points again!

Cookware

What are the care instructions for your ceramic nonstick products (Always Pan, Perfect Pot, etc)?
Great question! In general we recommend using high smoke-point oils, avoiding aerosol cooking sprays, using low to medium heat and avoiding extreme temperature changes (think a hot pan being put under cool water immediately after cooking). Always hand wash, too!

Each product has some unique characteristics though so we'll outline those below but let us know if you have any more specific questions.

We will outline some care tips below but check out this article on care & use, too!

Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan and Perfect Pot - Version 2.0
Before its first use, a quick hand wash with mild dish soap and a soft sponge will do! You'll always want to use low to medium heat to preserve the nonstick coating. Not to worry though, it is great at getting and staying hot!

Preheat gently. Start by preheating over low-to-medium heat for 90 seconds to bring your cookware to the appropriate temperature before adding oil, butter or fat. Don’t preheat for longer than 90 seconds without oil, butter, or fat.

Version 2.0 is compatible with all stovetops and is oven safe up to 450°F with or without the lid.

The beechwood utensil can also conveniently rest on the handle while cooking! It should always be hand washed and dried to not retain too much water. Throwing it in the dishwasher can ruin it, so please stick to hand-washing! We also recommend oiling it about once every month to avoid it drying out and cracking. You can use our Coconut Care Oil or any mineral oil to get it moisturized.

The lid knob and long handles on our products are designed to stay cool on the stovetop, but will get warm with prolonged use. The pan body and helper handle will get hot. Please be sure to handle all cookware with caution. We recommend using an oven mitt or our hot grips while cooking!

The exterior coating on our nonstick products can stain, so we recommend safely wiping away any drips so they don't burn onto the outside. If there is some staining, though, you can use a mixture of baking soda and dish soap to try and scrub the stains away and then rinse off with warm water. We don't recommend any harsher cleaning options as they can damage the color of your cookware. We also think a nice lived-in look is a great sign of a happy home cook!

Already in a sticky situation? Try boiling water with a few tablespoons of baking soda. Usually if you experience sticking, it's due to a thin film over the coating. This should remove that and get you slipping and sliding again!

A note for the Ceramic Nonstick Perfect Pot 5.5 qt. Both handles on our full size Perfect Pot are helper handles so they'll both get hot when cooking. Use oven mitts or hot grips while cooking.

Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan and Perfect Pot - Version 1.0
With our previous version you can follow nearly all the same care instructions however it is NOT oven safe. We launched our Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 8.5” 2.0 July 17, 2023 and our Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 10.5” 2.0 on April 10th, 2023. If you purchased before those respective dates, you may have Version 1.0. If you purchased directly from us and you're not sure, please reach out to us so we can check! We can usually tell with a few photos as well since there were some cosmetic changes, too.
How do I care for the nonstick coating on my Our Place cookware?
Our nonstick coating is designed to perform — here’s how to care for it so it keeps doing its thing, meal after meal.

We have a few different types of coatings (or lack thereof) so be sure to follow the instructions for the product line you have. If you aren't sure, send us a picture or ask us. We would love to help!!

Ceramic
Our toxin-free ceramic nonstick coating is easy to care for! To keep our nonstick coating in great condition we recommend the following:
* Stick to high smoke-point oils and avoid all cooking sprays.
* Use low to medium heat for stovetop use and stick within our recommended oven safe limits for your product(s).
* Only use soft non-metal utensils to avoid scratches (like the Beechwood Spatula or Spoon they come with!).
* Skip the dishwasher -- hand-washing with mild dish soap and a soft sponge should do the trick!
* Preheat gently. Start by preheating over low-to-medium heat for 90 seconds to bring your cookware to the appropriate temperature before adding oil, butter or fat. Don’t preheat for longer than 90 seconds without oil, butter, or fat.

Titanium
* Preheat your pan for 90 seconds before adding oil or food.
* Coat your pan’s interior surface with at least a teaspoon of oil before cooking (more if fine if desired). The oil helps to kickstart the nonstick effect.
* A bristle brush is recommended for everyday cleaning of interior (to get into texture)
* Abrasives, such as steel wool, are safe to use on the interior, but should not be used on the exterior to prevent scratching
* For an easier way to clean any caramelization or stuck on bits from your pan: make a paste of baking soda and vinegar and scrub the interior or simply deglaze by boiling water with a tablespoon of baking soda on the stovetop.
* For a boost, you can rub a teaspoon of neutral oil on the interior of your pan after cleaning and before storing.

Cast Iron
* Pre-heat dry for no more than 5 min on low-medium heat
* To help avoid sticking during cooking: Make sure oil/fat and cast iron get to full temperature before adding food.
* Deglaze pan with liquid for maximum flavor and easy cleanup
* Hand wash to preserve interior patina and dry immediately.
* For a deeper clean/removing any marks: Try a mix of 2 tbsp baking soda + white vinegar until it forms a paste (~1/8 cup) with warm water and gently rub with a non-abrasive sponge. Note: Any discoloration is normal for enamel cast iron and doesn't impact cooking typically it is just hard water deposits)
What colors do your products come in?
We have a variety of classic (as well as some limited edition) colors that vary by product. You should be able to toggle between those based on the product you're looking for.
Where are your products manufactured?
All our products are designed in LA and manufactured by artisans & factory partners in the US, Thailand, China, India, Morocco, Mexico and more.
How do I keep my Beechwood utensil looking good?
To keep your Beechwood Spatula or Spoon in great shape, please hand-wash only! Do not put it in the dishwasher or soak it in water. Dry immediately after washing and reapply Coconut Care Oil (or mineral oil) as needed to moisturize. We usually recommend monthly!
How do I cook in cast iron?
We're so happy you asked! It's a wonderful material that is easier to use than many give it credit for. Cast iron is wonderful for foods such as meats (think crispy exterior), baking (think breads) or even desserts like a big cookie cake!

A few tips to help get you started:
  • Preheat your cast iron dry for no more than 5 minutes on medium heat. Then add oil, butter, or fat and watch for it to shimmer (not smoke!). Once the oil/butter/fat is hot, add your food! You can increase the heat after as needed, but avoid burning your oil/fat.
  • To help avoid sticking during cooking: Don’t disturb food until golden brown/a slight crust has formed; meat/food will self-release once cooked. If it's sticking - try leaving it for a few more moments.
  • While seasoning is not required for our enameled cast iron, it can help! We recommend rubbing a tablespoon of vegetable oil over the interior and heat your cast iron Always Pan on medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes. Once you’ve turned the heat off and it’s cooled down, wipe away any excess oil. You can repeat this ritual monthly or as desired before cooking or storing to help encourage its nonstick capability.
What is the difference between the Cast Iron Always Pan 10.5” and the Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 10.5”?
Both products are stovetop, oven and induction compatible so you can't go wrong with either (or both!). The difference is the materials they are made out of. We'll outline some of the main uses for each but they work well together in a home to compliment each other.

The Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 10.5” is a versatile ceramic nonstick pan that works great for recipes where a nonstick surface might be useful. It uses an aluminum core so heats up super quickly and requires less fat when cooking. Think eggs, sautés or anything that might get a little sticky. It's also a great choice for more delicate proteins such as fish, depending on how you're cooking it. It is the ideal piece for new home cooks as it makes home-cooking so easy and clean-up even easier.

The Cast Iron Always Pan 10.5” is an enameled cast iron that is heirloom-quality in its durability and can be used on the stovetop, in the oven, and in the broiler! It is the ideal piece for those home cooks wanting to take things up a notch. It does not need to be seasoned (although it can be to help prevent sticking) so it's easier than a raw cast iron pan. This will take a bit longer to get warm due to the nature of cast iron and may require more oil depending on what you're cooking. We love using this for searing meats, crispy chicken cutlets and cornbread.
What are the care instructions for your cast iron products?
Cast Iron Always Pan 10.5", Cast Iron Perfect Pot 5.5 qt., Tiny Cast Iron + Hot Grill

To clean your cast iron, stick to hand-washing only to ensure your pan looks and functions its best. Please also dry immediately afterwards. Do not let it sit in soapy water, as this can damage the enameled cast iron coating. If your cast iron product has any cooked-on bits of food you'd like to remove, you can deglaze it by simmering water with baking soda and breaking up any stubborn bits with the beechwood spatula.

Re-oiling the interior surface: If your cast iron is not performing as desired, rub a tablespoon or two of vegetable oil over the interior and heat on medium for 3-5 minutes. Afterwards, wipe away any excess oil once cooled. You can repeat this monthly or as desired before cooking or storing.

Our cast iron products may patina over time, but we understand wanting to remove stains on its exterior. Exterior stains can be removed with a little Bon Ami (or Bar Keeper's Friend) and some elbow grease. Usually, soap, water and a little elbow grease should do the trick!

Our Hot Grips are dishwasher-safe! We highly recommend only using them while actively moving your cast iron. They will get hot if left on for a long time on the stovetop and definitely in the oven (defeating their purpose!).

The Beechwood Spatula should always be hand-washed and dried to not retain too much water. Throwing it in the dishwasher can ruin it, so please stick to hand-washing! We also recommend oiling it about once every month to avoid it drying out and cracking. You can use our Coconut Care Oil or any mineral oil to get it moisturized.

All our cast iron products are oven safe! Below please find our maximum temperature recommendations by product:

- The Cast Iron Perfect Pot 5.5 qt., Tiny Cast Iron, Hot Grill are all oven-safe up to 500°F.
- The Cast Iron Always Pan 10.5" is oven-safe up to 425°F with lid and 500°F without the lid.
What makes the nonstick coating toxin-free?
Our ceramic nonstick coating is made without potentially toxic materials including PTFE, PFOA, and other PFAS (which are used in the majority of nonstick cookware). PFAS are nicknamed “Forever Chemicals,” because they do not break down easily in the environment or in the human body. As a result, they bioaccumulate over time, making them a highly concerning chemical group. PFAS-based coatings can also release toxic fumes when overheated.
How do I care for my Our Place ovenware?
Our full ovenware collection is oven safe up to 450°F but each item in the full collection has slightly different care instructions. See below for more details.

THE OVEN PAN
To keep your Oven Pan in great shape, we recommend using low to medium heat for stovetop use and a max temperature of 450°F for oven use. When used on the stovetop, it is expected for the bottom to patina over time.

Using high smoke point oils, non-metal utensils, and only hand-washing will also help protect the nonstick coating. As with our other nonstick cookware, please avoid using cooking sprays and harsh soaps or chemicals to clean.

Never stack items directly on the Oven Pan's interior without using something like our Oven Mat to protect the nonstick coating as that can damage the nonstick surface.

Please take care to use our Hot Grips (sold separately) or any oven mitt/kitchen towel to move during use as the handles will get hot!

BAKERS
Our Bakers are made from ultra-conductive aluminum with a toxin-free nonstick coating make it easy to bake your favorites. We do recommend giving the exterior and edges a quick wipe before baking to minimize patina over time.

OVEN MAT
The Oven Mat can be used to roll out dough (take care not to cut through the material) or as extra nonstick protection when baking. If any staining occurs, a thorough scrub with a little baking soda eliminates build up. Over time, it may patina, but that’s perfectly normal and will not impact the performance.
Is Our Place cookware compatible with induction stovetops?
Yes! Nearly all Our Place cookware is induction-friendly. We recommend always trying different burners to try and find the strongest match. Usually a larger burner will do the trick but for some stoves, a smaller one that better matches the size of the cookware is better. Typically we have found if there is a connection issue, a different burner is a great solve!

The only exception is our dual-purpose Oven Pan. While it is (of course) friendly for the oven, the stovetop griddle capabilities are not induction friendly. Otherwise, induction stovetops - here come!
Is your cookware oven-safe?
They sure are! The recommended temperatures vary by product but you can find the maximum recommendations for everything on the specific product page under "Care & Use". Just head to the page of product you are interested, click the + under "Care & Use" to expand and find details on the item you're looking for.

Cookware Add-Ons

What cookware products can I use an add-on with?
The compatibility for each add-on can be found under "COMPATIBLE WITH" for every add-on available our site. You'll find it just below the Add to Cart button. Just hit the plus sign to expand and see more info!

How do I use a Tagine?
Gently place the Tagine on top of your Always Pan (works on the Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 10.5”, Titanium Always Pan Pro 10.5”, and our Cast Iron Always Pan 10.5”), making sure to rest the bottom rim of the lid inside the pan's lip (it’s custom-designed to sit snuggly this way).

Be sure your stovetop is on low to medium heat, and you're ready to get cooking. You're able to regulate and control the steam release by slowly rotating the lid (with an oven mitt or kitchen towel!) to close the slot opening to achieve desired consistency/thickness of your dish.

It can also be used for oven cooking up to 500°F. Be sure to check the heating temperatures of your cookware for the maximum temperature, too!

Once you're done cooking, use a potholder or oven mitt to grab the knob when removing the Tagine as it can get really hot! After it has cooled (and the yummy dish you made is all gone), hand-wash it with warm water and mild soap.

We recommend washing it after each use.

Please note: Our Tagine was designed specifically for use with Our Place cookware so it is not recommended for use on any other pots or pans as the function and fit cannot be guaranteed.
How do I use the Grill Press?
Our Grill Press works excellent with our Cast Iron Always Pan 10.5” and our Hot Grill! We don't recommend using it with our Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 10.5” or Ceramic Nonstick Perfect Pot 5.5 qt. as it could damage the nonstick coating.

Just use the Grill Press as a weight for pressing food down. It will help create a better sear and prevent meats from "lifting" while cooking. You could also (carefully) preheat the Grill Press on a heat source (handle side up, of course!) for a few minutes before using it. This ensures your food is weighed down and has heat applied on both sides.

The Grill Press is heat resistant up to 500°F like the body of our Cast Iron Always Pan 10.5” but will get hot so be sure to use oven mitts while cooking. We recommend hand-washing it and drying immediately after to ensure it stays in great condition! We do not recommend using it in the dishwasher.
How do I use the Fry Deck?
To use the Fry Deck, carefully place it on your Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 10.5” or Ceramic Nonstick Perfect Pot 5.5 qt. once your food is finished frying. For a secure fit, be sure that the "feet" on the curved edge of the Fry Deck are placed on each side of the helper handle and outside of your Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 10.5” or Ceramic Nonstick Perfect Pot 5.5 qt.

Then you can use the chopsticks provided (or any non-metal tongs) to grab the fried food from the oil, place it on the secured Fry Deck and watch the excess oil drip right back into the cookware while your fried food gets perfectly crispy.

How do I use the Spruce Steamer?
Our Spruce Steamer works great for any recipe that calls for steaming! To get started, add enough water to the Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 10.5”, bring it to a simmer, then place the wooden steamer on top and you're ready to steam. When steaming larger items, we recommend checking the bottom of the pan periodically to ensure there is enough water to continue steaming.

The paper liners included with the Spruce Steamer help prevent food items from sticking and make it an easy cleanup, but other liners will work too! You can find paper liners at your local grocery store or online, but banana leaves, cabbage leaves, corn husks, and wax paper work great as well.

To keep the Spruce Steamer in great shape, use a clean damp cloth to clean off any residue after each use. It should never be fully submerged in water, and soaps, harsh detergents, and dishwashers should all be avoided! Also, please allow the wooden steamer to air dry completely before storing it.
How do I use a Trivet?
We think all our products are easy to use but a Trivet is probably the easiest! Just take our cookware after cooking and gently place it on the Trivet. It will act as a barrier between your table and the hot cookware. It can handle heat up to 425°F so just be mindful if pulling something out of an oven set to a higher temperature.
How do I use the Egg Poacher?
The Egg Poacher is one of our (not-so-secretly) favorite products for making every day feel like a Sunday Brunch at a local cafe.

Our Egg Poacher is compatible with our Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 10.5”. As always, give it a quick rinse with soap and water before first use.

Bring 65 oz of water to a boil in your Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 10.5”. Once the water is at a boil, add 2 tbsp of white vinegar and gently stir. Turn the heat to medium and carefully place the platter and egg poaching cups into your Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 10.5”.

A quick note: When in use, be sure to rest the bottom rim of the platter inside the pan lip for a secure fit. For safe handling, we recommend not placing the handles of the Egg Poacher over the handles of the Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 10.5”.

Next up, crack an egg into a Mini Bowl (or any small bowl) and slowly pour the egg into a poaching cup. Once your eggs are in each poaching cup, turn off the heat, place your Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 10.5” lid on the pan, and set a timer for 7 minutes. After the time is up, carefully remove each cup from the platter while draining any excess water back into the pan. Slowly remove each poached egg from the cup and serve!
How do I use the Flipping Platter?
To use the Flipping Platter, place it on your Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 10.5” with the artwork facing down (so the Our Place logo is facing you), then flip!

You can definitely utilize your Flipping Platter with your Ceramic Nonstick Perfect Pot 5.5 qt. too! Think larger portions of tahdig or upside-down cakes fresh from the oven -- just be careful as these will make for a much heavier flip.

We recommend allowing the Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 10.5” (or Ceramic Nonstick Perfect Pot 5.5 qt.) to cool before performing the 180° flip. Not only to prevent accidentally touching an area that may be too hot, but also to help ensure whatever you’re flipping stays nicely intact. Be sure to use oven mitts or a dry kitchen towel for extra precaution to make the flip safely!

How do I use the Hot Grips?
On each Hot Grip, there is a 'This Way Up' indicator on the interior of the longer side. So when using them, the larger half-circle (or longer side) should be what you use over the top of the Always Pan, Perfect Pot, Oven Pan, etc., to protect your thumbs. The shorter side would go underneath the handle.
While our Hot Grips are heat safe up to 450°F, we do not recommend leaving the Hot Grips on your cookware for the duration of cooking as they will get warm, defeating their purpose. Instead, simply pop them on when you're ready to move your cookware from stovetop to oven to table.

Tableware

Is your Tableware dishwasher safe?
It is! While our cookware should be hand-washed, our Tableware is able to be used in the dishwasher so snag a second serving of your meal and just give it a quick rinse to remove any leftovers. You're one step closer to your next meal!
Is your Tableware oven safe?
It is! Our Tableware is microwave and oven safe up to 350°F. Please use care when removing from either the microwave or the oven as they will be hot so oven mitts are recommended. We also caution against any extreme temperature changes so avoid moving directly from the fridge/freezer into the oven and vice versa.
Are your Night + Day Glasses able to be used with hot beverages? How about the Night + Day Mugs?
Hot coffee, cold brew, and everything in between — here’s what your Night + Day Glassware can (and can’t) take on.

We recommend using our Night + Day Glasses with cool liquids only! Room temperature is fine, too!

Our Night + Day Mugs are ready for hot coffee, tea or warm water! They are microwave safe and oven friendly up to 350°F. Plus, if you decide you want a cold beverage instead, they are fridge + freezer friendly, to boot! Just take care when doing an extreme temperature change (aka avoid moving from the freezer directly to the oven)!
Can I put Our Place Tableware in the fridge or freezer?
Not sure if your Our Place Tableware can go from table to fridge (or freezer)? Here’s how to store your leftovers — beautifully and safely.
Yes, Our Place Tableware is fridge and freezer safe.

All of our plates, bowls, and glassware are designed to withstand cold temperatures. Just avoid moving items directly from freezer to oven or vice versa.

Other Care Tips
- Allow Tableware to return to room temp before heating
- Do not expose to open flame or stovetop
What makes your Tableware unique?
Our new Tableware collection has been thoughtfully designed so that each piece functions not just with itself, but at least with one other item.

The wide range of sizes of each item offers the option to mix and match plates and bowls together, helping you to create perfect tablescapes. The plates can even act as lids on top of bowls, creating a unique “serve, eat, and store” situation! Each set of pieces also stacks within itself in cupboards or in dishwasher racks making them great for storage and cleaning purposes too.

We used high-quality stoneware that is durable enough for use in the fridge, freezer, microwave, and oven. The finishes of this new collection include a semi-matte exterior, glossy interior, and raw-like rim. You may see slight differences in glaze application and surfaces, but that is part of their charm and we quite like that! We also like that our new Tableware collection has a cohesive color palette that can be easily mixed and matched. We offer premade collections but feel free to create something unique that matches your style.
My Tableware has a few scratches, what can be done?
Ceramics are susceptible to markings as a result of using flatware. When forks and knives are used, a surface level residue can sometimes be left behind. Not to worry though, it is removable. We recommend using Bon Ami after cleaning and a little polish if you're still seeing stray marks. That should usually do the trick!

Kitchen Tools

Where can I find the dimensions of your products?
The dimensions for each item can be found under "PRODUCT DETAILS" for every item on our site. You'll find it just below the Add to Cart button. Just hit the plus sign to expand and see more info!
How do I use and care for my Walnut Cutting Board?
Our Walnut Cutting Board has two useable sides! One is a smooth, flat underside that can be used for beautifully serving food, and the other side has a deep, graduated juice trench perfect for carving meats or juicy fruit & veggies and helping to avoid spills. Having two sides is also more hygienic for sanitary food separation.

To keep both sides of your Walnut Cutting Board in great shape, we recommend:
  1. Give your board a quick hand wash after each use; mild soap and warm water are best! Never use a dishwasher and please refrain from soaking it in water.
  2. It's also best to towel dry immediately after hand washing, and then stand your board up on one end or place it in a drying rack to allow for airflow on both sides. Leaving a wet board flat to dry on a surface increases the chances of warping.
  3. Please also never use bleach on your board as it will stain/dry out the wood.
  4. While our Walnut Cutting Boards are pre-oiled with 2 layers of mineral oil, you should continue to oil the wood regularly (whenever it starts to feel dry). You can use our Coconut Care Oil or food-grade mineral oil.
My Walnut Cutting Board looks like it's splintering. What can I do?
Wooden products can be a little tricky but not to worry. Right out of the box, it might feel smooth to the touch. After its first wash, though, you may feel the board is more textured and less smooth. This is perfectly normal as the board needs time for the grains to settle in. A little patience and our Coconut Care Oil will help with this!

How to apply Coconut Care Oil (or any mineral oil):
After you have cleaned your board and it is dry, apply a generous amount of oil in an even layer over the wood. Use a dry, clean cloth or towel to evenly spread the oil across the board. Let the board soak up all of the mineral oil for the next few hours, ideally overnight. Once the oil is soaked in, you can rub off the excess oil with a dry, clean cloth or towel so it is not wet to the touch. Repeat monthly or as needed.
How do I clean and care for my knives?
Cleaning and caring for knives can be tricky, so please make sure safety is always your first priority!

It is best to hand wash your knives with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge or cloth right after using them. Please note: Leaving your knives to sit with food remnants will make cleaning a tougher task requiring more strenuous scrubbing. This can also lead to the blade becoming dull more quickly.

Immediately after hand washing, thoroughly dry the knife with an absorbent towel before storing it in the included sheath or a block or magnetic strip to help protect your blade's edge.

We also recommend sharpening your Everyday Chef's Knife and Precise Paring Knife regularly to keep their blades nice and sharp.

The Serrated Slicing Knife does not need to be sharpened as often, but you can get it professionally sharpened as needed.
How do I sharpen my Our Place knives?
Sharpening your Our Place knives will help keep them performing well! The frequency depends on how often you use each knife.

If used daily, we suggest sharpening the Everyday Chef's Knife and Precise Paring Knife at least once a month. If they are used less frequently, every few months should be good. Your Serrated Slicing Knife does not need to be sharpened nearly as often because the teeth on the knife do a lot of the cutting work.

When you begin to feel a bit of resistance cutting through something that is usually smooth, that's a good indicator that it's time to sharpen.
To sharpen your Everyday Chef's Knife and Precise Paring Knife at home, you can use a whetstone, but sending them out for sharpening by a professional is always a great (and safe) choice!

We only recommend getting your Serrated Slicing Knife professionally sharpened when needed as the teeth do need to be treated carefully.

Electrics

How do I clean the Wonder Oven?
Make sure you clean all the Wonder Oven’s components after each use with soap and warm water. The appliance and its included accessories are not dishwasher safe!

Be sure you give everything a chance to cool before handling any of the components for cleaning! That’s a big one — we don’t want you hurting yourself!

Don’t use any harsh abrasives or corrosive cleaning products, including cleaner sprays. As always, make sure you refer to the Wonder Oven’s user manual for a full breakdown on cleaning, care, and maintenance.
What is the Dream Cooker’s noise level?
The Dream Cooker generates noise in two distinct ways:

Control Beeps: The cooker emits sounds as part of its control system, such as when selecting settings or modes. These sounds are generally low in volume (similar to a microwave beep) and serve as feedback for user interactions.

Steam Release: When the cooker's valve opens to release steam, you will hear a noise associated with the release of steam pressure. This sound is a normal part of the cooking process and is to be expected.
What cooking modes are available on the Dream Cooker, and what types of food are they useful for?
Pressure Cook: Pressure cooking is the process of cooking food under pressurized steam and liquid in a sealed vessel. High pressure helps to limit boiling and create higher temperatures, which cook foods faster than other cooking methods. This cooking mode is the recommended method for foods that are unlikely to overcook, such as soups and stews, or for foods you wish to cook quickly. Most foods cook under high pressure, which helps to break them down and cook faster. Foods that are sensitive to overcooking (like rice, pasta, and eggs) cook better with low pressure.

Slow Cook: Slow cooking is a method used to cook foods slowly over a long period of time using low, steady and moist heat. With slow cooking, recipes that call for High temperature usually cook in 4 – 6 hours, while recipes that call for Low temperature usually cook in 8 – 10 hours.

Saute/Sear: Use the Saute/Sear mode like you would use a skillet or saute pan on the stove. (Except you won’t have another pot or pan to clean!) Searing (or browning meat) prior to slow cooking or pressure cooking helps develop and enhance flavors. We recommend setting the temperature to High while searing. Sauteing veggies or infusing herbs and aromatics into broths before cooking is another great way to boost your recipes. We recommend setting the temperature to either Low or Medium while sauteing.

Keep Warm: Keep Warm can be used as its own mode to keep foods warm or to reheat foods like soups, stew and warm beverages. When Keep Warm is used at the end of the cooking process, the timer will count up to a maximum of 8 hours. Once 8 hours is reached, the appliance will automatically shut off.
Do you have any videos of your Wonder Oven?
Want to see the Wonder Oven in action? Here’s where to find helpful how-tos, demos, and inspiration. Check out our Getting Started Guide here. The "Wonder Oven, Up Close" has some videos that might be super useful! We are always thinking up new content. If you want to see anything specific, please drop us a note.
What are the maximum amounts of food I can use for the Dream Cooker?
Avoid overfilling the Dream Cooker, as it can lead to steam release valve clogs and excessive pressure. When using the Pressure Cook, Slow Cook and Keep Warm modes, never exceed the maximum fill line ("PC MAX"). Ingredients like apple sauce, cranberries, grains, and pasta can foam and splatter during pressure cooking, so adhere to the recommended fill levels. When cooking expanding foods like beans or rice, fill the pot no more than halfway, as indicated by the "1/2" line. And remember, oversized foods beyond the PC MAX can pose risks, so cook within recommended limits. For searing meats, we recommend not overcrowding the bottom of the inner cooking pot.
I lost my Wonder Oven User Manual. What do I do?
No worries! Hopefully it turns up but just in case, you can download a new one here.
Can I change the cooking time mid-cooking on the Dream Cooker?
Need to adjust the cook time while your Dream Cooker’s already doing its thing?

Here’s how to make changes mid-meal:
* Press the Start/Stop button to temporarily halt the cooking process
* Use the -/+ buttons to make the desired changes to the timer
* Once you've set the new time, resume cooking by pressing the Start/Stop button again
Tell me more about how the steam infusion works on the Wonder Oven.
The Wonder Oven’s steam infusion works by creating a small amount of hot steam that locks in moisture, drawing out delicious aroma and flavor from your foods. It’s a magical cooking method that helps meats stay juicy and makes breads and desserts extra soft, fluffy, and delicious.

You’ll first want to turn on the Wonder Oven, set the time and temperature per the recipe, and wait for it to preheat (it preheats up to 75% faster than traditional ovens*). This is important — the steam infusion only works with a Wonder Oven that’s already hot.

Once the oven is preheated, simply remove the water inlet’s lid, flip it over, fill its measuring cup (no more than 2 teaspoons!), and carefully pour it in. That's when the wonder begins.

The Wonder Oven’s door will likely show condensation from the inside, where the hot steam is making its magic.

Quick note: Use only water for steam infusion — distilled or filtered is not necessary, off the tap works fine. No oils, broths, or seasonings. We mean it!

What can I use with the Wonder Oven? Can I use non-Our Place cookware/accessories such as glass dishes or tinfoil?
For best results, we recommend using the components and accessories that come with the Wonder Oven. But, that said, you can use any heat-proof, oven-safe dish, and aluminum foil where necessary to provide a protective layer. Do not put the following in the Wonder Oven to cook: parchment paper, baking paper, paper baking cups, plastic, or silicone.
How do I know when the pressure from the Dream Cooker is fully released?
You can determine when the pressure is fully released and it's safe to open the lid of your Dream Cooker by looking for these indicators:
  • “HOLD” Indicator: When the pressure has fully dissipated, the “HOLD” indicator on the UI panel will disappear.
  • Steam Release Indicator: The steam release indicator on the UI panel will no longer be visible when the pressure has been released.
  • Switch to Keep Warm + Timer Counting Up: Your Dream Cooker will automatically switch to the Keep Warm mode, and the timer will begin counting up when the pressure has fully dissipated. This indicates that it's safe to open the lid.
  • Dropped Float Valve Pin: Another physical indicator is that the float valve pin on the lid will have dropped, signifying that the pressure has been released.
  • Manual Steam Release: You can also push the Manual Steam Release button on the top of the lid to release pressure.
Do you have extra parts for the Wonder Oven?
The Wonder Oven comes with the following components in the box:
  • Oven
  • Wire Rack
  • Air Fryer Basket
  • Crumb Tray
  • Bake Pan
  • Water Inlet Cover
If you’re looking to double up, we offer an Accessories Bundle, which includes an additional Air Fryer Basket and Bake Pan. Make double portions of cookies, wings, veggies, whatever, thanks to the genius multilevel cooking capability! If you're having trouble with any other parts, drop us a note and we'll see if we might be able to help.
Is it normal for the exterior of the Wonder Oven or Dream Cooker to get hot during cooking?
Wonder Oven: Yep. All that powerful engineering inevitably creates some heat! Allow the Wonder Oven to cool before touching or handling, and use heat-resistant pads or insulated oven mitts just to be safe!

Dream Cooker: During cooking, the exterior of the Dream Cooker may get warm, but not hot. Regardless, to prevent burns or injury, we recommend using heat-resistant gloves, pads, or oven mitts and make use of the available side handles when handling the appliance. Additionally, avoid placing the appliance near flammable materials and ensure it's on a stable, level countertop. Always take caution to avoid placing your face, hands or other body parts over the steam release valve, too!
What are the built-in safety features for the Dream Cooker?
The Dream Cooker comes with a suite of built-in safety features, including:
  • Pressure Limit Valve that opens by itself if pressure is detected to be in an unsafe range.
  • Valve Cover that prevents food debris from blocking the Pressure Limit Valve.
  • Safety Lock that lifts to prevent the lid from opening when pressure is inside the cooker
  • Lid Detection Switch that ensures the lid is in its locked position before the cooker operates.
  • Temperature Sensor to ensure the inner cooking pot temperature is closely monitored for optimal cooking, which helps prevent food from burning.
  • Pressure Sensor to ensure internal pressure is closely monitored and controlled, per the user’s inputs on the control panel.
  • UI Control Panel that displays an error message to warn the user if the inner cooking pot or lid is not properly positioned.
  • Electrical Current and Thermal Protection Circuit, a fuse that cuts off the cooker power supply if improper temperature or current is detected inside the cooker or its components.
  • Manual Steam Release, which gives the user control to release pressure at any time during cooking. It’s also positioned away from the steam release valve to avoid contact with additional escaping steam.
Tell me more about the Dream Cooker’s heating elements. Does it change with various settings?
The Dream Cooker employs a versatile heating element in the form of a heat plate located at the unit's base. This element adjusts its temperature settings according to the selected cooking mode and temperature preferences, ensuring precise and even heat distribution. It adapts its power output for various modes like Pressure Cook, Slow Cook, Saute/Sear and Keep Warm.
Is the Our Place Dream Cooker safe to place on kitchen counters?
Wondering if the Dream Cooker is safe for your countertop? Here’s what you need to know before you plug it in.

Yes, the Dream Cooker is safe on most countertops.

We recommend placing it on a heat-resistant surface when in use. For added protection, especially on natural stone, use a trivet or heat mat.

Countertop Safety Tips
- Avoid placing directly on delicate surfaces
- Let it cool before moving

How should I clean the Dream Cooker and its parts?
Hand wash the inner cooking pot with warm, soapy water, and ensure it's thoroughly rinsed and dried – never place it in the dishwasher. To tackle stuck-on food residue in the inner cooking pot, soak it before cleaning; avoid scouring pads, and opt for non-abrasive cleaners or liquid dish soap with a nylon pad or brush if necessary.

Treat the silicone sealing ring gently, hand washing it and avoiding the dishwasher. When removing or reinserting the sealing ring, ensure it's securely in place to prevent warping. Always inspect the sealing ring for any damage, and if needed, reach out to Customer Support team here.

Hand wash the condensation collector or use the dishwasher's top rack, removing it by pulling away from the base, not downward. After each use, air dry all components thoroughly before storing.
What are the technical specifications of the Dream Cooker?
Height: 15.2 inches
Diameter: 12.4 inches
Depth: 13.3 inches
Weight: 12.9 lbs
Capacity: 6 quarts
Can I put Our Place appliances in a cabinet?
Wondering if it’s safe to store your Our Place appliance in a cabinet? Here’s what to know about putting it away between uses.

Only if you’re storing it! Never, ever operate either appliance inside an enclosed space.

Wonder Oven
The Wonder Oven needs at least 1 inch of clearance on all sides from anything else on your counter — including walls.

Dream Cooker:
You can store your Dream Cooker in a cabinet, but make sure to always carry it by its side handles. Do not operate the Dream Cooker in a cabinet. To ensure safe operation, it's crucial to maintain adequate space (at least 5 inches above and at least 3 inches on all sides) for proper air circulation. Operating it in an enclosed space or under cabinets may lead to steam damage or overheating. Please keep the appliance on a stable, level countertop with proper ventilation during use.

Splendor Blender:
Your Splendor Blender is intended for countertop use and
needs a home that is flat, stable, and level. Do NOT use it in
enclosed areas.
